Privacy Policy

Toolhub runs entirely in your browser. We don't track you across the web, we don't sell your data, and we don't require an account. The only data we collect is what's needed to keep the site online and free: aggregated, anonymous traffic statistics and the ads served by our ad partners (Adsterra). Your conversion history, favorite tools, and Color Studio palettes are saved to your browser's local storage only — they never leave your device.

We collect the following anonymous data when you use Toolhub:

• Aggregated traffic data — page views, country (derived from IP, not stored), browser type, device type. We use this to understand which tools are popular and to optimize the site.
• Conversion queries — the currency pair or unit pair you viewed (e.g. "USD to EUR"), but not the amount you entered. We use this to surface popular pairs.
• Anonymous error logs — if a page throws an error, we log the error message and stack trace (no personal data).

We do not collect:

• Your name, email, or any other personally identifiable information (PII)
• Your IP address in identifiable form (it's hashed for geo-detection only)
• The amounts you convert or the palettes you create
• Cross-site tracking cookies (we don't use them)

The following data is saved to your browser's local storage and never sent to our servers:

• converter-pro-storage — your conversion history, favorite tools, and site settings (theme, accent color, etc.)
• color-studio-pro, color-studio-security, bynam-studio-encrypted-v1, color-studio-backup-v1 — your Color Studio palettes, gradients, brand kits, projects, and history

To clear this data at any time, use your browser's "Clear browsing data" feature or visit the Studio Settings page inside Toolhub and click "Reset".

When you open a currency conversion page (e.g. /convert/usd-to-eur/), your browser fetches live exchange rates from open.er-api.com directly. This request happens from your browser to the API — it never passes through our servers. Toolhub is hosted as a static site on Cloudflare Pages, so there's no backend that could log your request.

Toolhub is funded by non-intrusive display advertising. Our current ad partner is Adsterra. Ad networks may use cookies and similar technologies to serve relevant ads and to measure ad performance. These third-party cookies are governed by the ad network's own privacy policy:

We have configured all ad placements to use fixed CSS dimensions so they never cause Cumulative Layout Shift (CLS) penalties in Google Core Web Vitals. We never allow popups, pop-unders, redirects, or any intrusive ad format — only display banners and a single CTA button labeled "Support Toolhub".

Toolhub itself uses no tracking cookies. The only cookies set are by our ad partner (Adsterra) when ads are enabled — these are governed by Adsterra's privacy policy linked above. If you disable third-party cookies in your browser settings, the ads will still display but won't be personalized.

If you're in the European Union (GDPR) or California (CCPA), you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you (we hold none — but you can ask)
• Request deletion of your personal data (clear your browser's local storage)
• Opt out of personalized advertising (see links above)
• Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority

To exercise any of these rights, email support@bynam.tech. Since Toolhub doesn't collect personal data, most requests can be fulfilled instantly by clearing your browser data.

Toolhub is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it immediately.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
